Kundapur; Dec 11: Byndoor Vidhana Sabha constituency’s jurisdiction Gangolli, Byndoor and Yadthare village panchayat’s contest, curtain fell down. Much anxiously awaited election in these villages, voter has given his verdict. While congress won in Byndoor and Yadthare, BJP won in Gangolli.For Gangolli Panchayat 33 seats, Yadthare village panchayat 25 seats, Taggarse village panchayat 21 seats, elections were held on Dec 08.
Contest between Byndoor Vidhana Sabha limit current legislator Gopala Poojary and loser of last election BJP block president B.M.Sukumara Shetty was the attraction of this election and lured attention in this election ward.
Byndoor vidhana sabha constituency’s Yadthare village panchayat, in last election congress had won, this year also again retained its position. Similarly BJP was under the control of Byndoor village panchayat last time but this time it has lost to Congress. In Yadthare village panchayat, congress earned massive victory by scoring 11 seats out of 25 seats followed by BJP was satisfied with 6 seats. In Byndoor ward out of 21 seats 11 seats won by congress, followed by BJP 9 seats and 1 seat has gone to the lap of Independent candidate and in Gangolli out of 33 seats, 19 seats won by BJP, Congress party won by 14 seats. This time there were not much differences, the political parties try to maintain the same difference.
In Yadthare village panchayat, congress supported group formed the administration and again took back the rein, in Gangolli BJP formed its administration and in Byndoor BJP lost its power.

As the counting of elections nearing closing in Kundapur government P.U.College on Dec 11, Wednesday evening, in the college ground separately chanting slogans both Congress and BJP by holding their respective flags celebrated their victories. During the occasion Byndoor and Kundapur ward’s prominent party leaders, senior party workers, activists were present.
