Udupi; Dec 13: While delivering a lecture about ‘Mangala Yana-Savalugalu’ (Mangala’s journey and challenges) in a programme organized jointly by Udupi Poornaprajna college, Poornaprajna amateur astronomy viewer’s sanhga and science sangha, in college’s mini hall on Dec 13, Thursday, Professor Haldhodderi scientist and writer Sudheendra said in his lecture that there are four prominent stages in the journey of Mangala, which has to be brought under the jurisdiction of earth. Then after crossing the aureole of earth, the same has to be brought it under the arm-pit of sun, Thereafter Mangala will be trapped in aureole of jurisdiction. Finally Mangala will enter in specified orbit of planet.
Professor also said that in this, third and fourth steps will be very challengeable.
This satellite has been already covered the distance of 29 lac kilometre.The main target of our mission is to join Mangala, which rotates around the sun at the speed of 30 kilometer in its specified jurisdiction, explained professor.
The works of joining the path will take place in the midst of next year April, August and September and ten days before joining the path. This is very difficult task. Similarly during the path of these 300 days, the people are in the apprehension that there might be some impediments for instruments.
