Kundapur; Dec 13: Based on the confirmed information of illegal storage of petroleum products in Godown in one of the buildings in Shirur village’s Melpete near Vijaya bank, Byndoor police circle inspector along with the staff raided a tiled building near Shirur Vijaya bank, arrested accused Mohan Poojary, who was inside the room.
The list of the illegally stored petroleum products without licence:-
- A total of 21 cans of blue colour Kerosene oil in white colored 35 litre capacity cans
- 1 can of 35 litre capacity colorless Kerosene,
- A full iron barrel of black colored 200 litre density, yellow colour on the top colorless Kerosene oil
- 1 full iron barrel of red colored 200 litre density, yellow colour on the top blue colored Kerosene oil
- 1 black colored 200 litre density blue colored Kerosene oil half filled iron barrel
- 1 blue colored 200 litre density, iron barrel, colorless kerosene
- 1 silver colored 200 litre density blue colored kerosene oil in full iron barrel
- 200 litre density blue colored fibre barrel blue colored kerosene oil full barrel
- 2 empty 35 litre capacity of cans
- 20litre white coloured 2 cans
- 10 litre capacity 1 measuring device and 5 metre capacity one instruments.
- Around 1’ height with two handles and hole at the bottom I iron bucket
- Around 3/4ft height with hole at the bottom, plastic pipe joined one plastic panel
- At the bottom around 2 ft long 1 ½ inches green colored plastic pipe joined one plastic panel.
Around Rs 40,000 worth goods, food assistant tahsildar and panchayat people’s inquest was taken under the custody.
A case in this regard has been registered in Byndoor police station.
