Bantwal, Jan 15: The District BJP flagged off its padayatra at Rajarajeshwari temple premises at Polali on Tuesday January 14.
The padayatra is being led by party leader Rajesh Nayak with an aim to reach out to people in villages.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel highlighted the failures of Congress governments in centre and state.
He also criticized the party for only been praising the Gandhi family and ignoring great freedom fighters such as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
District BJP President Pratapsimha Nayak said the rally will go door to door campaign explaining the failures of the present state and central governments.
Delivering the key note address, Rajesh Nayak said that Narendra Modi must be elected as the next Prime Minister and to give the achievement details of his leadership, the party workers will visit 59 villages to build the party at the grassroots level.
