Mangalore, Jan 18: District Bharatiya Janata Party members jointly with Mangalore South Vidhan Sabha Constituency staged protest in front of DC Office on Jan 18, Saturday against union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar’s statement over Modi.
Addressing the protestors, they condemned the statement given by union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar over Modi for providing place for tea distribution.
Later they shouted slogans against him and burnt his effigy.
BJP spokesperson Ravishankar Mijar, Mangalore South Vidhan Sabha Constituency general secretary Vedavyas Kamath, City president Srikar Prabhu, corporators Naveenchandra, Roopa D.Bangera and others were present.
