Belthangady, Jan 23: Bishop of Mangalore Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza inaugurated the newly built St Antony Shrine located at Naravi Church, Belthangady taluk, on January 22, Wednesday.
Bishop also presided over a Festal mass, held as part of annual feast.
On behalf of Naravi Parishioners, Fr Cutinha handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to Bishop Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza for the Africa Mission.
Parish Priest of the Church Fr Louis Cutinha, Principal of St Antony College Fr Arun Wilson Lobo and others were present.
As a part of spiritual preparation, Nine days of Novena was held in the church. A beautiful choir was also presented.
