Mangalore, Jan 27: The activists of CITU staged protest against the Hind Mazdoor Sangh (HMS) district president Sureshchandra Shetty in front of his residence on January 27, Monday.
The protestors alleged that, Sureshchandra Shetty was going against the local employed in the railway goods shed and Aspinwall company godown.
When as many as 45 activists moved towards the residence of Sureshchandra Shetty, the police detained 35 activists along with CPI (M) leader Sunil Kumar Bajal and CITU district general secretary Vasanth Acharya.
