Udupi; Jan 27: Inaugurating the government’s variety facilities distribution programme held at Hiriyadka Devadigara Sabha Bhavan, to the village panchayat citizens of Bommarabettu, Atrady, 80 Badagabettu, Kukkehalli and Kodibettu, Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge said in his address that withheld 3 lacs house blocks under state’s housing programmes have been cleared and works of the incomplete houses will be finished soon, he said.
By finishing the works of the cleared houses,GPS should be done after that rest of the works of delivering to the aided beneficiaries should be done by PDOs.Government could able to distribute 70% of the BPL cards and all the remaining eligible benefactors in the district will be distributed BPL cards very soon, he said.
At the same time 92 BPL cards, 7 bhagyalaxmi, 85 Manasvini including chief minister’s relief fund, variety facilities to affected farmers due to areca nut disease and free laptop was delivered to student Pravin from SC/ST fund.
Kodibettu village panchayat president Sandhya presided over the function.Tahsildar Guruprasad welcomed, taluk panchayat managing director Manjunathayya proposed vote of thanks and Hiriyadka Jayavantha Rao compered the programme.
