Mangalore,Jan.31: Custom Officers arrests a passenger at Mangalore International Airport on Wednesday January 29 and seized eleven metal pieces of gold worth Rs 5.86 lakh concealed in a show piece.
The arrested is identified as Mohammed Haneefa Bedira Sulaiman, resident of Vidyanagar, Kasaragod.
It is learnt that the arrested had carried the gold weighing 195.620 grams and worth Rs 5,86,860 concealed in a decorative show piece item by Air India Express flight IX 384 from Dubai on January 29 at around 5.15 pm.
