Aladangadi: Lions Club Aladangadi as a part of their community development service projects and St. Peter Claver Church, Aladangadi as a part of their centenary celebrations organised a “Free Eye, Dental and Medical Check up Camp” on 06.03.2014 at Church Hall.
Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Abelo Lobo inaugurated the camp. Lions Dist Governor Nominee Ln. Kavitha Shastry was the chief guest during this occasion. Manipal College of Dental Sciences Dental Surgeon Dr. Ramya and KMC Mangalore Ophthalmologist Dr. Rahul volunteered their services during the free check up camp. About 446 people benefitted from this free medical camp.
Lions Club Mangalore Cauvery Charter President Ln. Asha Aroor, President Ln. Shamitha Sanjay, Dist Lioness Chairperson for Dental Care Ln. Revathi Shetty and Dist Convenor for Sight First Ln. Harsha Kumar were present during this camp.
Earlier, Lions Club Aladangadi Secretary Ln. Aloysius D’souza welcomed, Treasurer Ln. Victor Crasta proposed a vote of thanks. Health Officer KMC Mr. Laveen and Lions Club Aladangadi President Ln. Cyprian Fernandes coordinated the camp.
