Mangalore, Mar 18: District Additional Judge Uma MG flagged off Mobile Court or Janatha Nyayalaya at the Regional Transport Office on March 18, Tuesday.
As part of a legal awareness drive, D.K District Legal Services Authority jointly with District Administration, Police Department and Transport Department flagged off the Legal Literacy Chariot.
Speaking on the occasion, Uma said that it is the duty of every responsible citizen to have the information of laws pertaining to land and the drive will create awareness among the people.
District Assistant Regional Transport Officer A.R. Hegde briefed on the Motor Vehicles Act.
Principal Senior Civil Judge Nagalingana Gowda S Patil spoke on the occasion.ZP Chief Executive Officer Tulasi Maddineni, Regional Transport Officer Afzal Ahmed Khan, Principal District Sessions Judge BV Prakash, P Ashok Ariga of Mangalore Bar Association and others were present.
