Bantwal, April 11: The clash between two groups once again erupted tension on the sensitive town of Kalladka in Bantwal taluk on April 10, Thursday night at 8.30 pm .
The incident occurred when a group of men assaulted a youth belonging to a minority community and ended up in hurling bottles and stones at each other. Three persons were injured and two vehicles were damaged in the clashes.
The KSRP personnel, who were camping in the town in the wake of the election duty, had to resort to lathi charge to control the situation.
Bantwal Circle Inspector Rajashekhar Mistri and senior officials reached the spot.
