Mangalore, Apr 19: An over speeding car topples and rolls into Gurpur river, on the way to Mangalore airport on April 19, Saturday at 6:30 am.
The incident took place when a car Maruthi Eeco (KA 20 P 4734), driven by Sulaiman from Udupi to Mangalore airport lost control over the vehicle.
Although the car was badly damaged, the driver of the car Sulaiman escaped with minor injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital for treatment.
It is learnt that Sulaiman was on the way to airport to pick his relatives. Panambur police have registered a case.
