Mangalore, April 25: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held at newly inaugurated JDS office on April 24, Wednesday M B Sadashiva, President, district JDS unit said in his speech that after solving all the internal problems, differences amongst party leaders, now party is mainly focusing on ensuing assembly election activities.
He said that after realizing the misrule, corruption ridden and tainted minister’s of BJP governance in the state, now the people have changed their mind and decided to vote for JDS in order to bring back H D Kumaraswamy’s administration in the state, which is the need of the hour, he added.
Speaking in the press meet he also added that welfare of backward people, minority community people, protection of women, Mangalore city’s overall development, Areca growers problems are our main agendas and will be taken care of by the JDS government, if, it elected to power.
Further he clarified that JDS has fielded able, sincere and dynamic candidates in the fray and they have all already busy with election campaign in their respective constituencies and answering the query posed by media reporters about JDS opponent, Aziz said BJP will be the main opponent in the fray.
Thereafter he welcomed Muzambil, BSR party state secretary to JDS by handing over him the party’s flag.
On this occasion Aziz Kudroli-corporator has been appointed as President of JDS Minority Cell and on the recommendation of M B Sadashiva, administrative power has been given to him as directed by H D Kumaraswamy, JDS State president, sources said.
S P Changappa-JDS candidate from Mangalore south,Ghulam Mohammed-candidate from Mangalore north, Mohammed Kunji,secretary,senior leaders like Krishnappa Poojary,Sushil Noronha,Aziz Malar,Abdul Aziz,Sharath Shetty,Ratnakar Suvarna,R Dhanraj were present in the meet.
