Mangalore, May 6: To mark the centenary celebrations of the Dakshina Kannada Buntara yane Nadavara Mathra Sangha, the association will host World Bunts Conference at Bunts Hostel on May 9 at 5.30 pm.
Speaking at the press meet held at Bunts Hostel on May 6, Tuesday, Sangha president Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi said that on the day, the Sangha will dedicate the renovated Bunts Hostel Circle to the MCC.
He also said that dignitaries of the community from across the globe will attend the centenary fete and World Bunts Conference.
Dignitaries like District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai, Nitte University Chancellor , N Vinay Hegde, MP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel, Jayaprakash Hegde, Mayor Mahabala Maarla, AJ Group of Institutions Chairman AJ Shetty, M.R.G. Group of Hotels MD Prakash Shetty, Bangalore Buntara Sangha president Amarnath Hegde, Alva’s Educational Institutions Chairman Dr M Mohan Alva, UAE Karnataka Sangha and Buntara Sangha president Sarvottam Shetty, UAE Exchange CEO Sudhir Shetty and Gayatri Namit Associates Director Gayatri Shetty will participate as the chief guests at the event.
