Mangalore, May 09: “There is a urgent need to bring out the talents in the students by instilling competitive spirit by moulding them to combat the future challenges”, said Prof. Narendra Nayak, Chairman, Expert Group of Institutions after releasing the book “Little Black Book for Students” authored by Ananth Prabhu at a function held at Hotel Ocean Pearl on 08.05.2014.
Students should add passion and perseverance to their talents to succeed in their future career. He advised that the book will be very handy and informative during their academic career. Mr. Prabhu is a role model for the students, he added.
Fr. Denzil Lobo, Rector, St. Aloysius College Institutions in his presidential address expressed his concern over the present education standards and advocated that the system needs a reformation by creating a learning environment and by improving teaching methodology; good education system will give a new dimension to the student’s future career. Innovation is the key to the quality of education and development. Hence, the institution should concentrate to enhance the quality of education, he added.
The author and CEO of CITS, Mr. Ananth Prabhu in his welcome address revealed that the book will guide the students “How to study effectively?”, “How to set their time table for the exams?”, “How to face the exams?”, “How to tackle the exam phobia?”, “How to cope up depression?” etc and contains practical tips and other motivational subjects.
Former Minister Sri Krishna Palemar and Prof. Nadeem of Cosmos Tutorials graced the occasion as chief guests and congratulated Mr. Prabhu on his achievements. Mr. Sanmith Shetty proposed a vote of thanks. Ms. Pooja Rai compeered the programme.
