Udupi, May 10: BJP candidate for the LS polls from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency, Shobha Karandlaje, speaking to press persons on her maiden visit to the area after polls, made mocking remarks on the issue of Load-Shedding.
Shobha Karandlje said, “Respected CM, only if you can provide sufficient electricity you should rule this state, else its better you resign and lay down office. Without proper information, facts and figures, the CM had made unreasonable remarks against me, which are incorrect.”
“Appropriate documents are available with the departments concerned. Before hurling the blame let the CM compare the measure of power generated during the BJP tenure and the present Congress government,” she added.
She pointed out that public should not be put to trouble, because of the lack of cordiality between the Energy Minister and CM. The Congress government is playing dirty by providing electricity till polling day and now making regular power cuts.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, had blamed Shobha who was the former energy minister during BJP Govt., for mishandling the power sector in Karnataka and creating a bad situation for the people now.
