Gangolli, May 15: Sahasra Kumbhabhishekam was organized at Basruru Shri Mahala Narayani temple to mark the 450th annual festival of the temple. The temple has an ancient history to its existence.
Shreemad Samyameendra Theerta Shripada Swamiji conducted the devotional Sahasra Kumbhabhishekam, Pavamanabhishekam, Kanakabhishekam, Prassannapooja and Mahapooja to the deity.
The ritual was conducted under the guidance of Vedamoorthi Jagadesh Bhat, devotees from various places and communities took part in this devotional event.
