Mangalore : Corporation Bank, a premier public sector bank, opened its new branch at Perlampady in Kolthige Village in Puttur District on 11th June 2014. The new branch was opened by Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank in the presence of Sri V. V. Bhat, I.A.S. (Retd.), Former Secretary to Govt. of India & Ex – Director, Corporation Bank, Sri Pramod K.S., President, Grama Panchayat, Kolthige Village and Sri Nanya Achutha Moodethaya, President, Managing Committee, Mahathobara Mahalingeshwara Temple, Puttur. Shri Fareed Ahmed, Circle General Manager, Shri D. M. Mujumdar, Zonal Manager, Shri M. Rangaswamy, Deputy General Manager, Customers and staff of the Bank were present on the occasion.

Perlampady branch is the 51st branch under Mangalore Zone of the Bank and 19th rural branch opened under unbanked rural centre in the Zone. The branch has all the necessary facilities like, ATM, Lockers, core banking facilities, etc. The Bank’s network is spread across more than 8,600 functional units which includes over 2020 branches, 2260 ATMs and 4,332 branchless banking units across the country.
