Mangalore, April 29: Speaking to election campaign held at kaikunje, B.C.Road B.Ramanath Rai, a congress candidate from Bantwal, has accused BJP of insulting democracy through their witchcraft inside the Vidhana Sabha in order to suppress their differences of opinion among the members.
He also welcomed the leaders from BJP, who have joined congress by handing over them party flag.
Further he said, during five years of BJP rule, they encountered several kinds of differences of opinions. In view of escaping from all these, BJP has indulged in many kinds of black magics inside the Vidhana Sabha and as a result of all these irregularities, most of the times door of the Vidhana Sabha was being locked without transacting any proceedings and these were the highlights of BJP developments, he ridiculed.
An election which will be held on May 5, would be clean, wherein electorates will send their message for the able congress governance, he said.
Promises of Ramanath Rai:-If congress elected to power in the upcoming assembly election, he promised that the following hitherto unresolved problems would be resolved.
1).Implementation of second phase of drinking water project
2).Mini Vidhana Soudha and Hi-tech Bus stand in B.C.Road
Rai has further accused BJP that they came to power with their slogan of “Abhivridhiye Moolamantra”(Developments is only our focus) but they utterly failed in delivering the mandate of the people besides having not provided basic requirements like power of attorney, shelter houses to poor people, he alleged.
Continuing his bitter attack on BJP, he further alleged that in BJP, party workers do not have time to interact with the public. Their focus was only on elite business people, capitalists etc at the cost of middle class, he said.
Frustrated BJP workers due to directionless governance of BJP, most of the leaders from the party joined congress party and they have all been welcomed by Rai by handing over them a party flag.
BJP workers who joined congress are Ravishankar Kaikunje, Madhava Kulal, BC Road, Yogeesh Poojary, Chikkayyamata, Nilesh Chikkayyamata, Ramachandra Gatti, Narayana Poojary, Vijaya Alethoor, Charanaraja Gatti Alethoor,
Muhammed,Nandarabettu,sadashiva Bangera,Shareef,mamatha Gatti,President,District Mahila congress,Lukman-President,Bantwal youth wing, local prominent leaders like Ramakrishna Alva,Rajashekar,Naika,Josthin among others were present.
