Mangalore, Jul 11: A man accused in a murder case was hacked to death at Moodushedde here on Friday July 11. The accused has been identified as Bharat alias Prabhu.
Sources said that two persons came in a bike and brutally assaulted Bharat with machetes before fleeing the spot. The dead body was later shifted to Wenlock mortuary after the arrival of Kavoor police.
Bharat was the prime accused in the murder of Kadle Manju in 2009, and faced several other cases too.
Kavoor police have registered a case. Further investigations are being conducted.
