Karkala, Aug 02: A two year old child died when the wall of a house collapsed due to heavy rains and strong winds at Kaje Banglegudde in Beluvai during the early hours of August 2, Saturday.
Sai Bhuvan, son of Sanjay and Shruthi is the deceased child. The family was fast asleep when a large part of the wall collapsed over the only child of the couple, killing him on the spot.
Local MLA V sunil Kumar, former MLA Gopal Bhandari, Tahsildar Raghavendra and others visited the place and consoled the grieving family.
