Kundapur,August 13, 2014: A dowry case has been registered against Anwar Azim and other two for harassing his wife Naseema for more dowry.
Naseema has stated in her complaint that Rs 2 lakhs and 25 sovereigns gold was given to Anwar Azims family as dowry. She was cared well for two months by her mother in law and sister in law until they could extract all her gold. Later, they started selling the gold. On the insistence of his parents, her husband is torturing her mentally and physically.
It is stated in the complaint that they have put Naseema out of the house demanding for more dowry.
