Ullal, Aug 24: A premature baby was delivered to Pushparaj and Gauri couple from Kumpala Vidyanagara, which was declared dead by doctors. But just before the burial it was found alive.
It is learnt that the baby was born on August 15 at a private hospital and was kept at incubator. But on August 23, doctor declared baby to be dead. Broken by his statement the couple took the baby at the burial ground at chembugudde.
As the parents poured milk into baby’s mouth according to Hindu tradition, the baby was found alive with showing the movements.
Soon the baby was rushed to a hospital in Mangalore and is recovering.
Pushparaj has lodged a complaint against the doctor in Ullal police station.
