Mangalore, August 25:On Monday, August 25th a female agent of Vraksha Business Solutions Ltd, Mangalore has lodged a complaint with the police commissioner stating that as an official agent, she collected money from various individuals according to the company’s policy for investment, but now the company has betrayed her and her clients by not paying them back as promised.
Pramodhini G Shetty of Jeppu, who has identified herself as the agent has written a letter in complaint to the police commissioner, Mangalore division and submitted it through Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike. As the police commissioner was unavailable, the complaint was submitted to the deputy police commissioner.
The letter states that the agent has collected nearly 8 lacks from many individuals and handed it over to the company. Documents supporting this claim are in her possession, she has stated in her letter.
The complaint further states that the company had promised to return the money by May 31st. “When the company failed to return the due amount on the promised date, we went to its office to demand the money, to which the company officials assured to pay by August 6th stating that they were facing financial hurdles. On that day, the company had collected the bank account numbers of investors and promised to return their money at the earliest. However, the company has failed to stand by its words”.
The names of individuals who invested the money in the company along with the amount of money invested is indicated in the letter.
Sources revealed that not only Pramodhini, but many other agents and clients of the firm are facing the same trouble.
Based on Pramodhini’s complaint, Bunder police have lodged a case under sections 406, 417, 418, and 420 of IPC. Investigations are carried on.
As the numbers listed in the company’s website either goes does not exists or out of network coverage, attempts to contact the company officials have failed.
