BELGAUM: Pakistani prisoner Mohammad Fahad Nadutani (30), on a fast at the Hindalga Central Jail here, was hospitalized today after his health started failing. Nadutani, who is in the prison for the past seven months, launched an indefinite hunger strike five days ago demanding facilities, including an opportunity to speak with his family members on phone.
Police sources said Nadutani was arrested by Mysore police on terrorism charges.
Nadutani has been kept in the prisoners’ ward of the Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences. His condition is stable, hospital sources.
