BANGALORE Aug 9: The students of Imperial College of Business Studies engaged themselves in a series of community development initiatives in the last few days. The programme was part of the national management week observed along with Association of Indian Management Schools.
The students visited villages and educated the villagers on sanitation and hygiene. They shared their books and study materials with them, some of them school and college drop outs.
The students gave tips to the peddlers, and the road side sellers on how to manage the business and make it profitable. They visited an eye hospital and pledged on donating their eyes. They also made a visit to an old age home and an orphanage, apart from training school children on road safety rules.
