Bangalore, November 6: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday directed the police to ensure foolproof security for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the City on November 17.
Reviewing the security situation in the State with the senior police officials at his official residence, Mr. Siddaramaiah urged the police to take steps to ensure proper security.
Senior police officials who were present at the meeting informed the Chief Minister of the three-layered security planned for Mr. Modi’s visit and also of their efforts in coordinating with the organisers, Gujarat police and special forces from the Union.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister K.J. George, Director-General and Inspector-General of Police L.R. Pachau, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Kamal Pant and Joint Commissioner B.K. Singh.
