Mumbai : The youth wing of Bunts Sangha Mumbai celebrated its 25th year along with Aakanksha World 2013 McCoy Miss Bunt and Mr. Bunt contest on 21st December at Sai Palace Resort and Hotel open garden at Kashimira near Dahisar here.
Sahil Rai from Mangalore declared as Mr. McCoy World Bunt and Maitri Malli also from Mangalore crowned as Miss McCoy World Bunt 2013.
Gaurav Alva and Prerna Shetty are VK Groups McCoy World Bunt First runner up. Prithvish Shetty and Anviksha Gunapal Shetty are declared as second runner up.
Sujeet Hegde, Tumkoor crowned as Mr. Popular and Anviksha Shetty crowned as Miss Popular.
The questions asked by the judges not only in English but even in Tulu was answered correctly by the contestants influenced them for their victory.
The event was organised by Bunts Sangha Mumbai Youth Wing in association with Mathrubhumi Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., powered by Charishma Builders, VK Groups McCoy as main sponsor and other associated sponsors.
Elli Avram of Bigg Boss was the chief guest of the event said It is lovely show. Tulu is lovely language. I love Tulu. But first I will learn Hindi and then learn Tulu.
Harish Vasu Shetty founder Chairman of Bunts Sangha Youth Wing thanked to all the supporters, past chairmen and chairpersons of Youth Wing.
More than 4000 people including VIP’s presented in the open ground for about 6 hours even though it was too cold.
Chairman of Youth Wing Shivaprasad Shetty extended sincere thanks to CA Shankar Shetty president of Bunts Sangha and other for their support and co. operation.
In his speech CA Shankar Shetty said our youths should be given this type of platform. We are proud today because this is what we want to expect from the youth. Referring to the contestants he said winning is not important participating is important.
Rajan Shetty, Shreya and Prashant Shetty anchored the entire event.
All the office bearers, committee members, Youth wing office bearers and committee members and all other subcommittee and local committee of Bunts Sangha Mumbai were present and supported for this grand event.
